I just finished rereading Patrick Rothfuss’ ‘The Name of the Wind’. It’s the first of a planned trilogy where the third book has been in progress for the last 12 years I noticed a lot of parallels to the pacing issues of the Star Wars prequels you mentioned.

I was struggling to articulate why I disliked this movie beyond “I hate this dialogue,” so this was helpful.
I remember liking in Knives Out how every member of the rich family was just awful. While not a structural critique, it’s a damn sight better than the rich people suddenly taking a stand for good at the end.
I’ve watched it twice and enjoyed it but your points are all valid. Not that your opinions need validating; they are your opinions and this is your video and your site so… I’m drifting.
At first I thought they were going with “Elon except he’s competent” but then the big reveal was “he’s not, he’s an idiot”. I feel that twist may have played better a couple of years ago when it wasn’t so well known. I still laughed though.
